Today the board is intermitently getting extremely slow. Sometimes a page will take over a minute to begin to load. Other times it is lightening fast. Also it is dropping sessions periodically making it necessary to log in again. Specifically, it still shows as logged in, but then when you try to view another page or submit a post it tells you that the session is no longer valid and to log out and back in.
Is it a different database server now than it was before the upgrade? If not, then the upgrade must have altered some settings or dramatically increased the number of queries for each page load.
I just sent Phil a message with the same problem there Hightech, so it wasn't me after all. Thank goodness, I thought the board got tired of my post and tried to discourage me from any more.

Worked fine for me this morning, now it is very slow indeed. :'(
Maybe some issues that will be ironed out with all the work that has been done, hopfully.
