Title: Air wiper adjustment
Post by: j.m.jackson on August 17, 2017, 01:36:49 PM
My drivers side air driver windshield wiper doesn't have near the arc of travel of the passenger side wiper. Anyone have a procedure or manual for adjusting how far the wiper moves? I'm in a fishbowl with non-pantograph wipers.

I have a similar bus as yours- AMGeneral. I changed my air wipers to electric. One motor per side, electrically synchronized, hi-lo-intermittant. Best change I did to the bus. Good Luck, TomC

If your air motor is the same as the 4905, there is no adjustment for total travel. The travel range is fixed in the design of the motor and internal shuttle valves. However, any wear or slop in the linkage will result in loss of travel. This includes the bushings that the shaft passes through in the body.
