How is it that every bloody time I head out in glorious sunshine to paint something and leave it baking dry in that same glorious sunshine that 20 minutes later it's pouring with rain on my fresh paintwork? It's happened three or four times in succession on different days! Methinks the weather gods have been tainted!

I'm in the upstate and i've been saying the same thing for months. I've got roof coating to put onto mine, but can't because who knows, 90 degrees one minute, torrential downpour the next, and the weatherman says sunny all day. OR that it was going to rain saturday. I could have coated it saturday morning, and it would have been completely dry by the rain we got this morning, but nooooo, forecast says rain every day.
Yesterday the paint on the back of my magic box was pock marked by the rain. That wasn't so bad. The worst was V1 of my commode. The surround was wood painted with white latex paint. After the rainstorm, not much paint was left behind!

I was painting the area around the passenger side upper air intake (brush), the intake screen (brush), and the mounting base for the brake lights (spray). Didn't rain at all, of course, since I didn't roll on a gallon of roof covering.

No, i've got a 5303 GM (think the bus from SPEED). There are engine air intakes above the rearmost side glass on each side that were in rough shape. 16"x10" steel louvered plates, held on by 10 blind rivnuts with 10 rusty bolts with phillips heads. Guess what happens when they're rusted up. The riv-nuts spin. So you've got to grind them all off.
So another painting opportunity! In the rain.
I guess if it rains whenever you paint it could be proof the humans are effecting the weather. You are human, right?

Sorry... I'm from a planet near Beetlguse. Definitely not human though my friends Trillian and Ford Prefect are human.
I try to paint between the rainstorms. At the moment the weather is a bit turbulent.

Was going to install the last marker light, reinstall the intake screen, and check out the mount for the rubber surrounding the front wheel this afternoon. Instead, it's raining. Forecast said clear until Friday. Yard is a muddy mess, can't move bus to prevent having to drive through yard, because it's raining.
