Title: Allison external filter choice

I have a filter head that has a 1 1/2"-16 thread spigot, 4.85" dia gasket, and it takes a Donaldson P550388 hydraulic filter.  Can I use this on my MT 647?  It's bloody huge, but the other heads I have are pretty small, and I figure bigger is better.
