Today is pretty historic. Fir two years the drivers seat has mostly been inaccessible due to construction debris and my unfortunate habit of opening the front door, dropping my tools or purchases inside and closing the door for the night.

Anyway, several hours working in 99F achieved a miracle.

Yup... it's cleanish. The whole cockpit needs a good wipe down and I need some purple cleaner on that floor but it's looking better.
Next step... the rest of the bus.

I see you found your start battery right behind the drivers seat--is that #22 wire series hook up working out OK?
Sorry, my back is killing me after a day of hands and knees work on the garage floor and I want everyone else pissed off too.
All right. Its finally below 90 degrees, I can't get in my bus for the mess and yours is all nice and clean--lets go for a ride! Jack ;D

Lol. Only the cockpit is clean. The battery behind the drivers seat runs ventilation only. I'm having problems with that battery. It's allegedly 10AH but I get a maximum of 10 mins at 2.5A from it before the voltage gets to 12v from 13.4 (assuming it reaches 13.4. I've seen it go to 13.3 and just drop back to 13. I'm suspecting it's a bad battery even though it's brand new.

I would suggest trying the above procedure. On smaller automotive size deep cycle batteries, we don't always check specific gravities. Just give it another round on the charger, Or an extra two or three hours.
