Guys:Check out RVT web site .Someone has a 1976 Prevost Marathon conversion 8v71 35ft strait drive with just a bit over 86,000 miles .Asking 20 .
If I'm not mistaking, I almost bought that when it was up near Toronto about 15 yrs ago. If it is the same one, someone is going to get a good deal on a short Prevost.

I wonder who converted the bus Marathon is the bus model not the converter 76 was before Marathon started converting buses
This looks like a nice coach for a nice price. I'll call in the morning.
Fok. it is a manual :(
This coach is owned by Allen Forward and his wife from Vermont. He is a retired welder and believe they converted the coach but don't guote me on that. I know they updated the interior some years back,A friend bought what they had changed out for his coach. It use to be painted black and silver then they changed it to the tan and green it is now.The coach is straight and clean and would make a good deal at $20000
Don't know if they did the conversion them selves or hired it out but the ad says it started life with the Canada Department of Defense.
So I'm leaning toward a home conversion, but a very nice coach indeed!
;D BK ;D
Is it just my tired eyes or does the green stripe seem to be "faded" or blended to the top or is it over spray? I can get out the rubbing compound. If "Bertha's" power plant was just hooked to ht730/740 ? She would be perfect.
No the paint isn't over spray ,its his way of fading the paint into the tan. If you look the green goes up into top of the mirrors. It could be converted to an automatic, but that is another expense.
She is a looker. I asked for more pics and info going to call him now.

I asked my wife who sells small John Deere tractors and mowers about sales from email inquiries and she said emails for information got her about 10% sales, while walk-ins and phone calls had a 50% sales rate.

sounds right - i'm just a tire kicker on this one - manual, no go.
