Title: Leveling Valve Hose Positions
Post by: brianzero on May 29, 2017, 07:10:52 PM
Hi All,

When I was changing out my front leveling valve, I think I mixed up the hose orientation, and thus couldnt get the valve to activate. I couldnt remember if the air line from the rear of the bus went to the low outlet (on the valve body) and if the airbag feed line went to the upper outlet. Did I mix these up? How are these supposed to be arranged?

Brian, have you figured this out yet? If you could explain your question a little simpler for my simple mind I might be able to climb under my 102 and get some answers. You have a 9?

Wait I think I understand now. If you haven't sorted this out yet, I'll look under my bus and see if I can tell ypu

Your front valve has a line to the rear?
They must have changed the layout. My front valve serves only the front, and there are two different valves in the rear. You wouldn't have a pic would you?

I just got it figured out (nobody climb under the bus). This is what the correct orientation is:

Supply line from the rear to the leveling valve to upper outlet.

Airbag supply lines to lower outlet.

Not quite right. If you have Neway/Haldex(now) height control valves exhaust is ALWAYS  the top port no matter which way it is mounted.
