There's a scale model for sale on eBay right now of the very rare GMC PD4901 - the "Golden Chariot" - of which GM only built a single prototype.
It's item number 112410150435
Yes, it's not cheap - but then again, have you ever seen a model of this coach before?

I was thinking pretty hard about it... but it just doesn't get the mpg I was looking for!!! ;D
It is a great looking model/bus though; amazing they only ever built 1!
Hey Windy,
looks like one for you. does it come with papers...... :o
Nah, I'll let you real busnuts fight over it. Shoot, I can almost buy one tire for the listed price.
Where is the only one real one at?
If I had to guess, it's probably in a forgotten building at one of GM's plants or Jay Leno's house.

Dan -Wilson's Bus Lines in MA owns the Golden Chariot, which, I understand, is undergoing restoration.
They also own one of the rare articulating Golden Eagles that is in operating condition, which they use for special events.
