Just venting. I have a 120V plugin system. What in Gods good name made me put that in, I don't know!
Actually, yes I do. The hillbilly previous owners of my bus had a 120V pigtail leading to an extensive but cockamamie 120V system. It looked like that was probably the only thing they got almost right. Almost because all the wiring went to a single 10A breaker.
I looked at the hole where their wire came in and decided to put a 120v plugin system in. That's where the headaches began.... working around somebody else's bad work is always a bad idea.
I started by putting a main breaker in the hillbilly cable compartment and a sub panel inside. Later I moved the main breaker inside. What a pain that was.
Now one of my sockets is shorting so I'm having to sort that out. Another monumental pain in the butt because it's underneath a countertop. Makes me wish I'd just not bothered with 120V.

Yes it seems you went WAY overboard on this compared to some of your other projects.
You could have gotten away with an extension cord and a power strip with a built in breaker!

I was being nice! I really was confused at why he went so far out on this system verses some of the other simple systems he used such as the bucket toilet, battery powered lights, jerrycan water system and such.
It's not what I would build for my coach, but it shows he makes do with what works!
If I were building one as a simple hunting shelter I'd probably use some of his ideas.
