The question is how much is it offset? My tired old eyes get it at 183.5 degrees with it's opposite non-offset hole at zero, but I thought I would ask in case anyone actually knows. The other holes are at 60, 90, 120, 240, 270 and 300, as you would expect. I am measuring with a rotary table that has a vernier, on a Bridgeport, but I am measuring the edge of the holes in a scuff plate that's been used. So I can measure to 1 minute to a crappy edge of a used hole... :(
I expect I will put the hole close enough regardless, but I like to at least try to do things right.

With your OLD EYES,, are you sure you are not measuring a dowl pin hole.??>>>Dan
Nope, 8 bolt crank flange. 8V-71 apparently started out as 6 bolt with an offset dowel, but there was an update at some point. Both of mine had 8 bolts when I got them. I did some math, half a degree on a 3.750" circle is almost 16 thou, I should be able to see that with a loup. I will try to see if I can fit the flex plate on the rotary table, it has brand new holes, never squeezed by a nasty old bolt! ;D
