The shift pad will not light up and allow the engine to start or the transmission to engage I found the problem.
Now the question is what wire can I hook direct to pad to make it work without damage to pad or the transmission ECU.
My relay will not be here till Tue and I need to move the bus dumb @$# parked it in the front of the door and I need to get Tom's 4106 out of the shop, fwiw I can start the engine from the rear, any ideas besides a tow bill ???. What I would give for a 740 and broom handle right now
I've never seen your shop setup, but do you have enough room to air up the DL and pull it out of the way?

I can back him out the back door but once he leaves the gravel he will be sand for about 300 ft and I worry about the bus sinking in the soft sand when he makes a turn BTDT
Clifford. Are you sure it is a relay? Same thing happened to us in Idaho. It was a simple fuse. Go to the front J box, right under the driver. There are four or five fuses right against the front wall. One of those fuses is for the tranny.
Also, I wired a bypass switch on the starter. If the master is on, the bus will start and run. You just won't be able to move it, until the tranny lights up.
I found those fuses John they were good but the neutral start relay is fried and thanks for the bypass starter button it works ;D
I have no idea if it would work on a B500, but I can bypass my neutral relay with a jumper between studs 15 and 26 in the rear?
If that is completely useless...just forget I suggested it :)
