This bus sits at a small school in Central Mississippi. Fuel to expensive for such a small school to operate. 2011 was the last year the bus was used. Over the past 6 months, vandals have busted out 3 of the windows. Interesting. I've never seen a Thomas like that. It looks like full air suspension, which may or may not be a good thing. Cat 3208 engines are OK for occasional light-duty use. It could make a handsome conversion, and it's not a generic plastic-body shuttle bus either. I wonder how much under-floor space could be used for tanks etc?

This one looks pretty rough and I suspect it has a lot of hidden rust . I am not sure I would want to invest any money in this bus when probably for a few thousand dollars more you can get something that is much more sound that was probably better maintained. Just sayin'. There are quite a few buses out there for decent money in better shape.
THOMAS built quite a few of these back in the 80's into the 90's.
At some point I guess they decided to concentrate on school buses and modified versions of them and not continue to offer lower cost alternatives to the MCI's and PREVOST's. It was meant to compete with the BLUEBIRD Q.
I could not get the hatches open to see storage. I ride out to look over the weekend and so no one at school to get a key.

Mabe a parts version? They were asking 1000.00, but would probably take less
