Title: Leaking Air Valve MC7
Post by: Stormcloud on April 28, 2017, 10:11:31 AM
This culprit is leaking air around the diaphragm. Pretty sure its the the regulator valve that controls the bellows pressure on the tag axle but its possible it's the brake relay valve. Before I order parts, I'd like a 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinion etc.

It is located beside the pivot for the throttle linkage at the bulkhead of this MC7.

Thanks in advance!

Mark

....and following further inspection, it is indeed the tag axle bellows regulator.

That is the air pressure regulator for the tag axle air bags. Get a replacement and set it to 35psi and you are good to go.

Yep, thanks for the confirmation, Derrick.

Luke at US Coach shipped one out to me on Friday.

Mack sure you get a relieving type regulator. not a non relieving or it will put to much air into your airbags.
