I found this classic for sale. Must have the worlds biggest cap....

Buy it for parts if not for looks. ;-)
I sent him email.
We shall see :)
To each their own, but wow, the aerodynamics, the styling..., at least he did not do it to an Eagle. ;D
I don't know what parts you could get off it that would make it worth the hassle of getting rid of rest of the bus. The rust in the engine compartment/engine indicates everything by under the bus is rusted. The interior conversion is one of the worst I've ever seen. Give that thing to a homeless family that is currently living in a car.
--Geoff
Yes, I favor this "conversion", and I use the word very loosley, would be best displayed in a spread in "Bus Stupification Magazine".
I am shocked nobody close to the designer of such said something akin to....." Uh, about your ideas...."
Everyone has different ideas eh and they enjoyed it..... Story's the kids have now to talk about for life!....That's what its all about... ;D

Yes, you're right. If the family enjoyed it, it doesn't matter what it looks like. I guess for the asking price the owner knows what it's worth. I admit I only looked at the pictures before I posted.

maybe it's like a Hi-Lo trailer and the top raises up another story! lvmci...
Interesting. Although the exterior roof line is squared, the interior is curve like a bus. Maybe he just attached a modified shell from trailer or 5th wheel for a design statement or due to some damage that is now underneath. Anyway, it has its own character. Sort of looks like a cross between a bus and an old Winnebago.
Some interesting comments for sure! Rust, I do not see that seeing how the chassis is stainless steel. How is it that not one person noticed that engine is turbo engine? Might be more gold there hiding to be mined! John L

That's why I emailed him :)
I'll bet I can find more than the asking price in parts alone. Plus, when possible a decent donor is always a good thing to have.
Read the description. The original roof is in tact underneath the....er...modified roof. Someone offer him $4500, pull the inverter, pull the onan, sell some of the other stuff, and scrap the bus and you'll have a free inverter, generator, and maybe some $$ for your trouble.
My windows don't leak in a Heavy rain whats up with that?LOL ;D
Might be a good candidate for Daveola's eng/trans donor! (he shouldn't have any problems convincing the code police or the judge it's a camper not a bus with this one!)
;D BK ;D
If you don't like it, then keep your fu**ing mouth shut. People build things to their liking. It's none of your goddamn business. I know alot of you people want to sound like know-it-alls, but you're not all right. This is a perfect example of why I don't bother with this site much anymore. PURE IGNORANCE

Hmmm. Greg. You got the whole pot calling the kettle black going here. How do you know that others aren't right? Sounds like you are a know it all, to make that statement. Just sayin ;D

That is quite a remarkable post. This is a bus board and we (in Greg's mind) are not allowed to make comments about a bus that is for sale. If you make comments you are a "know-it-all" who is ignorant. Okay, let's see some pictures of Greg's bus and how he did or is doing his conversion. We would not make the same type comments to a member of this board as we would a non-member who is only known to us as a person who put up a Craig's List ad. Ad's for sale on buses are fair game around here. Take it or leave it, there is a lot to learn when someone innocently makes comments on a bus that is for sale and the members of this board make observations on it.

I, for one, see that bus as a potential parts machine for someone looking to feed their 8. Which is why I posted the ad. It must have at least some good parts and if so, one could tear it apart and scrap the rest with little guilt.
Hell, if I had an 8 and it was closer to me, I'd buy the hideous beast and pound a stake through its heart.

Dale Carnegie had a good book titled "How to win friends and influence people". ;)
With an attitude like that, maybe it's better that he don't spend much time here. ::)
Back to the conversion, I actually think the guy was just embarrassed to be seen in a bus and was trying to disguise it. BTW Astro, you should know by now that you can't kill a DD with a stake, they just got way too much heart for that... ;D

Bawahahahahaha!
Now my feelings are hurt I'm not coming back here no more because this meaning just told me to shut my fu**ing mouth and called me ignorant!
