I wonder if any of you know, or have had personal experience with a radiator shop in the Ocala-Orlando-Tampa area? I have some fin corrosion on the radiator. A new one is 8 weeks out from the manufacturer. So I am looking at Plan B options.
Thanks.
How about here

Also might give Duralite a try! I've had great results from their charge air coolers.

I have always used General Radiator who I believe are based in Chicago. They have a website and good prices. They sell you a new core and supply new bolts, nuts and gaskets to reuse your tanks.

Richard who built the original radiator for your Newell.I know some came from Midwest for the 8v92's in Newells

I just looked up General Radiator on the net and while I got good service from them there is at least one trucker who had nothing but problems with their products. It's been over 15 years since I dealt with them so maybe a new owner took over.
Try" radiators are us " They have a distribution center in Asheville N C
I am almost willing to bet that is a special sized for the Newell that Blades had built
Cliff,
Atlas, out of Corpus Christi is the OEM. And yes it is specific to Newell.
I was looking for someone in Florida that I could personally deliver the radiator for work. And I can google as well as any. Personal experience with shop is harder to glam than a web page.
Richard, my last good rad man is out of business, but I would call Tampa Spring Co. (the old Tampa spring and brake) they have offices in tampa and Ocala, there referals have always been good - FWIW

Atlas built the radiators for the Eagle buses too,Larry won't sell just a core as you probably found out he will only sell one with new tanks and sides. He told me 6 weeks for a Eagle radiator but it showed up in 2 weeks back in March of this year
Yep, I have a new one ordered from Atlas. I was putting together Plan B in case it is not ready for our departure date for the 2017 tour of the country. Please don't say alter the departure date, first stop is college graduation of oldest son. His mother would not be happy about missing that, and you know what they say about happy wife.
Just got off the phone with Larry, and he is going to save my bacon. So I am going to stop worrying about Plan B.
I hope to meet him in person, nice guy on the phone.

Is that Atlas Radiator in TX related to the Atlas Radiator in Santa Fe Springs CA? They built my new core last year, and I'm pleased with it. Not cheap, but good quality never is.
