Title: Detroit pat # help
Post by: robertglines1 on April 05, 2017, 06:34:44 PM
23515497M Is front motor mount for a 60 series. What my problem is I don't know it's original application?  I need to replace the rubber mounts between it and cross member. That is a custom application I fabricated to get more ground clearance in back. I have tried internet without any luck.

to further explain. I bought bus without engine cradle and no engine. I used the front mount on 60 serries that came out of truck. I found a different mount that will give me 3 more inches of ground clearance. Problem is I did not pay attention to what vehicle it came out of...   i know senior moment!!~ now  I  want to install it and can"t figure out which isolator or rubber mounts to buy. It has 2 round holes on side about 2 inch diameter these would be extremely better!  One of those I need to address that items. I do fab my own cross member so I want to have on hand before I start mod.  Thanks Bob

Bob, those come in a marine grade also the marine grade sure helps with the rough idle on a series 60

Will order tomorrow. This looks like a better product than the set up I had. Marine Grade. Engine cross member was just a little low for my liking. About 2 1/2 inches below pan this will bring a little above pan bottom.  Bob
