Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me what the silver reservoir in this pic is? It has a dipstick and it is indicating the fluid is low.
Thx
do you have power steering?
Is there any hoses going to anything? If so where and is it supplying or retrieving?
Looks like a Nelson power steering canister to me
It looks like a hydraulic reservoir for a remote gear-driven Margarita blender. These are commonly used in buses where there are no bicycle 120 generators available.

GEOFF has hit it on the head!!>>>Dan
How physically big is it? We can't tell. Estimated capacity? Any physical hints to as what it may do? Actual location?
Looks like a small plunger on the top, That might not be good.....

Just another bus part that sucks in money? :P
Is it connected to anything? I can't tell from the picture.
Yes, it has a hose on the bottom running underneath the engine and one on top going toward the front of the coach. It has a semi clear liquid in it-if that helps any.
Thx
Certainly sounds like power steering. Where do you fill your power steering system? Are you using clear power steering fluid? It seems that you can confirm that by following the hoses. The one coming from the front would be going to the steering box. The one going to the engine would be going to a pump.
