I work as a school bus driver. You'd be amazed at some of the wrecks driven, transporting children to and from school. There's one bus dating back to 1988 in the yard and it's regularly used. That's not the point though.
Driving along one day I saw one that had the back wheels well out of alignment. The thing was crabbing. The front was close to the left line and the back close to the right line. I'm going to say I noted the number of that bus and will not be driving it!

Huh.. If you feel it is unsafe and carrying kids, wouldn't you want to report it?

Was it carrying kids? If so, then, yep, drop a dime. Call 911 if nothing else. Perhaps the driver did not even know the School Bus had a big mechanical problem. Again the concerning thing would be if the School Bus was carrying kids or was just empty limping back to the shops?
If it had been me driving my old daily driver Crown Supercoach number 21, an old long gone 1963 40 foot 10 wheeler and if the back drivers were that far out of alignment that you could see it from the rear, I as the driver would most certainly feel it from the drivers seat. But ... long ago.

Drivers are barely paid $12 an hour. Most can't drive worth a hoot. You're judging schoolbus drivers as professionals when most are first year CDL graduates.

I bought my bus directly out of service from an operator about 200 miles away, who agreed to deliver it in exchange for them removing and keeping the seats. The guy who drove the bus up mentioned to me whilst chatting that there was another bus in the operator's fleet that always drove with it's rear wheels over the white lines in the middle of the road, no matter how close to the curb the driver positioned the front wheels. Which can't be good. (Although to put it in context, the operator was based in rural Devon where the roads are often very very narrow and you frequently drive straddling the white lines anyway).

This used to be a common problem ,more so on GM products altho I am sure other vehicles have had this happen also!!!!
