We are camped on the Colorado river near Parker AZ. Yesterday we rode the Honda motorcycle we are using for a toad this year to Lake Havasu for something to do. Comes time to get home, no power, like no electricity, to anywhere. No dash lights, no nothing. After trying everything I could think of with the few tools in the tool kit, I called Coachnet. They agreed to tow us back to the camp ground about 60 miles. No argument or discussion: nice. The lady called back twice to make sure the tow truck had showed up and that we were taken care of.
Guess what I am doing today... I am suspecting the bank angle sensor. Or if I am lucky it will be a loose connection that I didn't see yesterday.
Anyway, this was 2 years worth of premiums. I pay for the biggest package they have, I forget what it is called. It covers every vehicle we own.

Good deal. Have had it, top level, for about 6 years. Never used it and hope I never do.
I use good Sam premium road service which will cover all my vehicles plus anyone's vehicle I happen to be using.

All is good now. It was so simple, I feel stupid for not fixing it before calling for a tow. It was a corroded connection on the positive post on the battery. In my defense though, when I was looking for it yesterday, the posts looked good (looks are deceiving), the clock was on, and I had voltage on both sides of the main fuse. But looking again this morning, the clock was 10 mn slow, and the power was intermittent downstream of the battery. The moral of the story is: a clean ish looking connection may not be. Look for the simple stuff first.

Good news JC, looking forward to seeing you at the Rally in Pahrump.
Hi JC, clock working, but no cranking, good analysis, tom, lvmci...
