Just watching an episode of the Andy Griffith Show where they showed the old AFC Brill coach .Wonder if that thing might still be rusting away on some move sets back lot .I know those folks don't like to get rid of anything.
The majority, other than suspension and drivetrain is aluminum, so it should stay in pretty good shape. There is one about 50 miles from home that is a cabin of sorts and hasn't deteriorated. It's been there since the 70's. It sits right along a secondary road between route 22 and road going to Belleville. There also may be one at Crawford's yet.
John,
I thought there was a Brill sitting on the left on North 104, where it crosses 35, but I googled it, and I think it is an old Flx of about the same vintage--It was very rough though. Look on Google earth behind the gambrel roof garage to the left of the Freemont Fire Dept Building. It used to sit right along the road but I think there is a new building where it used to sit. This is on the way up to my mechanic in Middleburg--Byron Hassinger.
