Title: TPS check 9X-9647-1- CAT
Post by: rgrimard on February 19, 2017, 11:06:52 AM
Hello, I have  a MCI 102c3 with a Cat engine with a suspicious TPS.  The throttle pedal is connected to a cable which activates the "beer can" actuator 9X-9647-1. Before i spend a few hundred  on a new unit...I was wondering if anyone knew off hand if I could (or could not) check the resistance between the (3) pins and what I might expect to see on a meter as I rotated the arm from stop to stop? Thanks always.
Regards,
Ray
