Hello, I have a MCI 102c3 with a Cat engine with a suspicious TPS. The throttle pedal is connected to a cable which activates the "beer can" actuator 9X-9647-1. Before i spend a few hundred on a new unit...I was wondering if anyone knew off hand if I could (or could not) check the resistance between the (3) pins and what I might expect to see on a meter as I rotated the arm from stop to stop? Thanks always.
Regards,
Ray
Which Cat engine do you have?
Probably has a 3176 in a MCI.the way he is describing sounds like a PEEK electronic control engine
