OK I have a friend who has a 2000 MCI D4000 with 185,000 original miles on it. And was maintained by the federal government! (I personally drove this bus from Terre Haute, IN to PA for him)
He has run into a bit of bad luck as it got flooded while parked and his insurance company is trying to screw him with a lowball offer of $12,500 saying they can find comparable shells for that price.
He was smarter than that and told the adjuster "Tell me where I can find any shell less than 20 yrs oldd and with less than 200,000 miles on it for $12,500 and I'll buy 3 of them."
Now the adjuster wants him to find at least 3 comparable buses for them to compare value.
So I am asking for any of you that know of ANY bus for sale that has less than 200,000 miles on it to please post or forward me a link to it so that we can forward it to the insurance adjuster.
