All,
In my search for a bus I have come across another mystery. The bus in this picture is pretty damn nice looking. Has anyone seen it a rally or know the owner? It is possibly in Oregon. Yeah, I know-that's a big state. :)
Thx
Belongs to a friend of mine Mark (Boomer) Reener in Washington State and it's for sale best and nicest Eagle out there being one of a kind no corners cut on it
Any vital specs on it? I'm not as up as I would like on EAGLE's.
That is one honey bunny of a coach.

Has your engine, the ISM Cummins with a B500 Allison and around 9 to 10 mpg not bad for a 45 foot bus, very well maintained lol if it ever sneezed Mark was on top of it
Thx for the responses. luvrbus you have a PM.
That is a beauty alright, either the Ramco mirrors are super polished or chromed. The red paint looks like a pearl type in that picture. Seems like it should have been in Bus Conversions Magazine at some point.
Has a Mike Wilson paint job fwiw
Too bad that new EAGLE 25 never made it past the prototype stage. But the market just wasn't ready.
Would have made a nice seated version.
Is this the bus that BUSFORSALE had a few month's ago ?? Sure sounds like it right down to the Cummins engine .About the only difference I can see is the one they had for sale had those big wide wheel's on the front .Man that thing was sharp and at a reasonable price also!!!

By any chance... A North Carolina Mike Wilson? Who also happens to be a fantastic musician?

A very good possibility as "busforsale.com" is very well known for taking bus ads they find elsewhere putting them on their site and advertising them without the consent of the owner. Then if they get someone interested they either try to "broker" a deal between the owner and the perspective buyer.
Or they simply steer them away toward a bus they do have consent on, by merely telling the potential buyer the bus they were interested in has already sold.

No the Mike Wilson Clifford refers to is a West coast painter that has always produced some very high quality paint jobs.
And as a side note Mark aka Boomer the owner of the Eagle in question on this thread is a member here on the board and posts from time to time and has several very sharp buses.
;D BK ;D
If you want the specs they are at: www.busesandmore.com (http://www.busesandmore.com)
Geez Clifford, you could'a spelled my name right buddy, lol. We are going through your neighborhood the first week of March if you are going to be around, I'll call you. Visiting friends in Mohave valley and then to the Pahrump rally on the way home.
Here's a direct link to the details: http://www.busesandmore.com/inventory/eagle-rv/ (http://www.busesandmore.com/inventory/eagle-rv/)
I must say, for an "amateur" conversion the standard of finish and the level of workmanship in this bus is surely inspirational to the rest of us.
May I ask Boomer myself - I'd assumed looking at the photos that the interior woodwork (all that curved flush cherry cabinetry) was gloss-varnished veneer, but I see that the spec. describes it as 'laminate' - what type (brand / product) of laminate please? It's very good, whatever it is.
Also, the grey 'carpet' which is used to line the baggage bays and beneath the bed etc - is that actually carpet? There are aspects of the way it's been done which makes me think it must either be a thin cloth rather than carpet, or even some kind of spray-on flock material instead. Again, I'd be interested to know the product.
Thanks!
Jeremy
PS - I think you also have a much more vintage bus of some kind? I already have some photos of the interior of that saved into my 'bus ideas' folder on my computer!
Jeremy I don't know that I would call Mark's Eagle an amateur conversion!
And yes Mark also has this bus he lovingly built from the "ground up"!

Pretty sure I wouldn't call that one an amateur job either! LOL!
;D BK ;D
I deliberately said "amateur" rather than amateur as although I assume he technically did it as an amateur (ie. he wasn't being paid by someone else to do the work), quite clearly his work isn't remotely amateurish
Jeremy
From what I can see of Mark's work, it's above all - even the most professional of institutions don't put that kind of heart & soul into anything that's getting converted for $$$... I don't know Mark but his workmanship is totally outstanding...
In this case, amateur is superior than professional.

The interior was professionally done by Paradise Coach Interiors, I only designed it. I just did the mechanical work, I'm not a woodworker. The laminate is Wilsonart, high gloss wild cherry. It comes in semi gloss also. Laying laminate of this caliber is an art form, and Larry at Paradise is one of the best in the world at it. The curves are what I wanted, and the front overhead TV cabinet is one of Larry's works of art, compound curves. With all the granite, stretch to 45', and 8 batteries it weighs around 42,000 plus toad and still gets 8.8 to 9.8 the way I drive it.
The baggage bay liner is just plain old trunk/hull liner, nothing special.
Thanks for the compliments guys.
PS Larry also did my Silverside, this one in solid wood and it's outstanding too.
Mark, are you coming to the Parump rally in March, and which bus are you bringing? Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your bus.
JC
Mark we will be home give me a call, are you still in Scottsdale ? if so come by and check out the new place in Scottsdale.Sonja likes the house but I am nuts about about the shop 65Wx85Lx24H with polished concrete floors located on the west side of Pima RD on Dynamite.Sorry about the spelling lol
Still at Fountain Hills Clifford, heading for Tucson tomorrow. We just drove by your location a couple days ago. Is it on one of the dirt roads off Dynamite?
JC, planning on Pahrump but haven't registered yet. In the Eagle.

Many thanks for the info! Looks like the UK division of Wilsonart doesn't carry that product at all though sadly - they only do the countertop and solid surface range here

What ever you call it at $150,000 grand, that says it all!
