So far as I know, me and about 50 other conversions are heading to the Western GM rally. Don't forget the Eagles who will host 30 or more units ---- other than that I have no idea.

No exit at AZ95 & I-10, you have to go before or after, better to go east of the 95 and come back to it, then go thru the slow traffic around the tents, lvmci...

Bus Conversion Magazine will be there in booth VW9 at Tyson Wells, across the street from the BIG tent on the north side of Kuehn St, next to the Fire Department Booth.  Everyone that stops by will be allowed to choose any single back issue of a Bus Conversion magazine of their choice way back to issues from 20 years ago.  If we run out of magazines, we will be handing out Steak and Lobster dinners (while supplies last).   ;)

Anyone that brings us an article suitable for BCM will get to choose any 12 issues we have in stock, or we will either sign you up for a free 12 month subscription or extend your current subscription.  We want to see your bus on the cover of BCM but we are also interested in any articles about bus conversions, especially any technical articles.

Hope to see you there.

FYI to all those in the neighborhood....after dinner at 6:30 on Sat night bring your chairs and snacks for the big screen movie. We have a 12' inflatable screen, projector and a functioning sound system (This year for sure!!) and we'll be show a "To Be Determined" family friendly movie. Last year we did 3:10 to Yuma. We're still deciding on this years movie so post your suggestions.

I stopped eating there a couple years ago because the service was sub par, the food bland, and the attitude of the staff left a lot to be desired. The last time i was at times three i wasn't impressed either. Things have changed greatly in this town the last few years. Just a shadow of what it used to be.

QS has gone down because of the local government now sellers need permits, licenses inspections and charge a outrageous sales tax.
They write tickets if you park to close to road,if you have a flip up tow bar in place while driving and issue tickets for hitches in the carrier.
I had a cop try to write me a ticket because the bus had AZ plates and my car hauler had permanent OK plates lol I had a few choice words for that idiot and drove off

We haven't been there for 4 or 5 years now and we won't make it this year.  Next year for sure.  It sounds more like revenue generation than regulatory enforcement.  We better all get used to it because all our governments are spending like drunken sailors.

'Grubstake' used to be our favourite restaurant at Q. The fish was fantastic. Last year, under new management/ownership, we were terribly disappointed, and I think a lot of others were too. It certainly was not a busy place, compared to the other restaurants.
We will try it once this year....maybe it has improved?

Bring your own for sale sign Phil as Gary is on a roll and may sell your Moose Cabin from underneath you

HaHa!  You have an excellent memory Clifford.  Yes, Gary was (again) completely out of control last year.  I couldn't take down the for sale signs fast enough to keep the bus free from For Sale advertising.  Ah the happy memories.

So what I want to know is ... if we show up next winter bus-less, will there be some spot way in the back next the interstate where non-bus-dwellers can park?  We do have a diesel puller but it doesn't leak much so we won't really fit in anywhere.

LOL Bob I think they have a hole to hide the SOB's in ! (some other brand)

BTW I like the "doesn't leak much so we don't really fit in" remark.  Maybe you could get one of those drip trays that is like 2 feet by 4 feet an a 1/2 inch deep put it under the engine area, fill it with sand to cover it up and then pour used motor oil in it to make it look like it belongs there.
