Title: Air brake relay valve
Post by: 7Fold on November 21, 2016, 11:28:43 AM
Hi, new bus owner here.  Can someone point me to or give the general location of the air brake relay valve?  I have an 84 Prevost LeMirage (no tag) and I am installing the Roadmaster brakemaster 9160 system.  The toad is all set and I'm working on the coach setup, but can't find the relay valve.  Depending upon the location of the relay valve, is there another location closer to the rear that I can tie into the air hose connection?

Much appreciated.

Follow the lines from the rear brake chambers and it will take you to the relay, should be right above the rear axle

Exactly where it was, just above the trans.  I was too busy looking in front of the axle.  Thanks!

I have never worked on a 35 ft Prevost but if you follow the lines from the brake chamber it will take you to relay somewhere in that area look above the rear axle
