Title: Hand Rail
Post by: Cary and Don on November 06, 2016, 07:26:13 PM
I  know this is a long shot. Does anybody know how to take this handrail off? I have seen it on some other Eagles. There are bolts under the floor, but they look like they are actually holding the steps up through the floor. The bottom of the posts don't have removable flanges.

Our hardwood floor is warped from water coming in through the fan vent. So, it's a new floor.

That's a custom side door, so only the builder knows. I would try loosening some of the bolts you see underneath and see what happens. The bolts might be holding more than one item.
