It all happened quite by accident. Wheeled off the two-lane to use the restroom. Parked out front of this austere early forties looking building, guy walked up to me and asked,
"Is that your bus? It sure is a pretty bus." and I replied,
"A guy would be crazy to buy a bus." First thing I know he is talking about "something called negativity-hookups-plug-in's" ... little did I know it wasn't RV Slang.
Now here I sit, in a galvanized-steel, Luke-warm tub with built in leg-restraints (?) and a little slightly roughed up yellow duck. No electrical plugs anywhere and no phone, just quiet solitude and everyone leaving me alone.
There isn't a bus within miles, and I am starting to think
"maybe they lied to me about this so-called Bus Meet?" It could very well be the old
"here lick this battery trick," from grade school all over again.
I am confused.
Oh well ... When that nice man in the white coat comes back, I am going to ask him, if the professor on Gilligan's Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can't he fix a hole in a boat? You should always try to make the best of a bad situation and at the same time learn from it.
Wonder if Dr. Phil knows about this place?

Russell Johnson who played the professor was often asked that question up until he passed away in 2014 that if the professor could do all of those advanced things to enhance the quality of life on the island, why couldn't he find a way to build or repair the boat so they could get off the island.
To which the good nature Mr. Johnson would tell them that if the professor would have built a boat, the cast and crew would have been out of a job.
