Title: Overheating
Post by: Raymond smith on October 03, 2016, 05:51:14 PM
My 671 is overheating. Water pump
And bottom of radiator are cold. Is there a drive coupling off the blower that could have stripped. How hard is this to fix? Thanks in advance. Raymond

It has a spline drive from the blower with fork drive for the water pump they do go bad and not complicated to replace    good luck

Thanks for the reply. Do i need a drive for
A left turn engine or does it matter. Hard to get parts up here. The local detroit dealer does not do 2 stroke parts anymore

I have a new one I'll sell.  Let me find it and price it out.

Found the problem, the coupler half attached to the water pump fell off the water pump shaft. Also found a source for parts locally. Thanks to those who replied. Raymond
