Title: series 60 EGR for ddec V

Need to locate an EGR valve for a 14L series 60 DDEC V, DD says they discontinued the original and have to do an upgrade, there has to be some old stock out there? Engine info below, currently in Augusta, Maine, thanks for the help

Niles from what I learned with the '05 Setras we had those EGR valves were a PIA and pretty problematic all across the board.

You should see if you can get a hold of Ken Arnold (aka Hardheaded Ken) from down around Murfreesboro, TN

I'm pretty sure he can help you out with a final fix to the problem!

I will leave it at that and let the two of you work it out privately.

He is better off to upgrade to the newer EGR IMO

Sorry took so long to reply, and thanks for the responses. Found 1 discounted from Valley Power, the upgrade was over $7k, the replacement just $600, probably putting off the inevitable ☺
