Which model Flxible is this? Watch a short video here... http://goo.gl/Fp8qnm (http://goo.gl/Fp8qnm)
Gary,
I must be misunderstanding the title " Jay Leno's Flxible in his Big Dog Garage getting read for the Loudonville Rally"
Either he is starting early for the 2018 Rally or he just missed the 2016 rally by like 5 weeks! ;) :D ;D
Steve
Yeah, that is why Jay will never be successful in life. He is always early or late. ;D
Actually this is an old clip. Someone sent it to me this morning who knows Jay asking me if I want to go over and see the bus and write an article about it. Is anyone interested about an article about this bus, or is this bus just too old to be of interest to anyone? :D
I believe it is newer than Huggy but has the same Detroit pushing it.
Every thing Jay does is interesting. Must be nice to have his and Jon's money.

That FLXIBLE sure looks sharp. I think Jay Leno did/does comedy all of those decades so he could afford his giant warehouse full of big toys like that. I know if I had his money, I would fill a building with buses and fire trucks so I certainly don't begrudge him.
Much like Bob Hope where he would say that golf is his true profession. He only did movies and stand up so he could afford to pay the greens fees.
Gary,
You need to go! Never turn down that kind of invitation!
If you get to talk to Jay--Let him know I appreciated his visit in Afghanistan in 2014, even if he was upstaged by a pre-show rocket attack!
Steve
Hey, Uncle Ned. I wish I had the money I am supposed to have. As a bus owner I have made a small fortune, but unfortunately I had to start with a bigger one.
With that 6V-92TA putting out 435hp (fire engine spec), it pulled the southbound Grapevine at 85mph. Not bad! Good Luck, TomC

*Because* I'm a bus owner ... ;D

I hope you can drop in. always a good time had by all.

That Flx is Bernards--Jays top mechanic/engineer. I talked to him some time back when I was looking for 4 speed parts. Nice guy. Told me the side trim was all NOS stuff. My guess is that bus is super sanitary and the undercarriage and driveline are probably very impressive. Would love to see it closeup some day. Tom
Tom is correct, it belongs to his top mechanic.
I was privileged to see Jay's collection several years ago and it is a fascinating place to visit. Jay is a stand up guy and will not talk about TV, cars is another thing. He will talk for hours. He drives a different one almost daily to keep them in perfect running condition. He truly is a car nut!
Neat that you got to see inside. Jays webcasts on youtube are very good. Even when he profiles something you have no interest in he makes it interesting. Tom
