Title: MC9 Rear Diff fluid
Post by: steve.barnett71 on August 16, 2016, 04:35:53 AM
Getting ready to tackle the job of changing the fluid in the rear diff of my 82 MC9.   Any recommendations on weight and brand?

Steve; Not a big fan of synthetic for this use. Had problem eith older year units creating noise after change. Would suggest you go back to orignal spec on this one. Available at Busslers on St.  Joseph near diamond.

I have always used Valvoline 85-140 it meets and exceeds the Rockwell specs 0-76-A ,I wouldn't change to synthetic either unless you changed all the seals
