Hey guys, been away from here and from working on my bus for a while due to health issues for a while. For you that know I bought a 4104 with wiring issues that I couldn't figure out. Well I have been working on it and figured out my lighting and gauge issue was a bad solenoid. fixed. It even fixed my front start/stop switch. :) Couldn't find a grey/black tank that would fit in place of my leaking one, so I made a fresh water tank into a grey/black tank :) Now it's on to trying to figure out where my oil leak is coming from behind the 6v92. Good to be feeling better, and to be working on the bus again :) Hope to have it ready for a year long road trip by fall and hopefully meet some of you at a rally. Maybe Uncle Ned and I can have a drag race and kill some mosquitoes for everyone ::) You can see my wiring issues and bus pictures in my photobucket link if you want to see a true wire nest ;D
Glad to hear, your health is everything. Our buses are therapy, I think, Nelson
Was wondering where you went :) glad you're back and I'm sure your bus is too. What else is on the to do list?

Yep. same here. Be well.
At the risk of failing memory, isn't your name Scott?
I worked on your bus here in Prescott Arizona and at that time I told you the wiring looked like it was done by an electrical engineer on acid. I've never seen such a complicated mess of relays trying to turn 12v into 24v.

Yes my name is Scott. Actually the only part of the wiring that used a solenoid to convert 12 to 24 is on the 24 volt inverter. Not sure why they did that, probably to save a buck and use the 24 volt inverter? There has been so many owners and hands on this bus.. so not sure about the wiring, but at least all the cloth wiring has been replaced ::) Now I just need to go through it all and eliminate all the wires that don't go to anything.....
To do list ummmmmmm maybe win the lottery ;D Actually to start with figure out the oil leak. I need to powerwash the rear of the engine so I can see exactly where it is leaking from. It looks like it is coming from a line in the upper drivers side? Not sure what that line is for? I have a 6v92 out of a MCI in my bus. Still need to run a toggle switch for the misters I am hooking up, finish a simple redo of the bathroom, install a tv in the bedroom, figure out the satellite dish, find and replace seats in the driving area, get some 6 volt battery's for my house system, look into solar, reseal the roof, find some 24.5 tires for the rear, replace the fridge with a house one Damn I hope I live long enough to get er done before I die ;D
