I see SKF's Scotseal Classic and Scotseal Longlife come with the green Bore Tite coating on the outside. Or are you looking for stuff in a can that you can brush on?

Yes I am looking for the brush on in a can, there is another brand but I cannot find it either. If all else fails maybe I can use some type Permatex. I don't want to use Permatex but I may have no choice if the new seals we ordered are not coated

Never heard of it before you mentioned it. I've always used Permatex high tack. Had good results over the years I've used it.Sort of a maroon color and can be easily removed with lacquer thinner. It never hardens. I do not care for the brown Permatex gasket sealer. Btw, High Tack comes in a can with a brush.
