Title: Tach drive PPR

How do I figure out what the PPR (pulses per revolution) for my tach signal generator is ? 
Are all 8V92's the same ?

Are you coming off the alternator; or do you have a tachometer generator?

Tom,
I have a tach drive off the rear by the blower with a pulse generator.
