I believe I have one steel 24.5 that was the original spare wheel for my Eagle. I will have to check its condition. You can have it for the cost of shipping, if that works out as your best deal.

I just drove to St. Paul this morning to look at a set of 8 stud pilot 24.5 aluminum rims that were supposed to be "pretty good". They wanted $125 each. They were pretty badly corroded. Would have taken a considerable amount of work to make them nice again, so I came home and ordered 2 new steel rims for $110 each.  I decided steel doesn't look that bad considering the price.

I also had a quote of $302 each for new aluminum rims at a Great Dane trailer shop, but I think that was if I bought 6.

Dayton, Ohio area, zip 45371. I am super busy with my landscape company on all good weather days, but I will dig the wheel out and weigh it tomorrow. It has only had one tire mounted on it since 1984. Did you check listings on eBay for Alcoa's? I bought a very nice Alcoa last year from mule-6774 on eBay, but I do not see any listings for him now. It cost $219.50 plus $38.00 UPS shipping from Mississippi to Ohio (about 55 lbs). It did not even need to be polished. Southern wheels would have less exposure to salt. Front & tags & bogies will look better, rear wheels will have corrosion where they are bolted together. Check with wheel polishing services where you are, they know where to find wheels to polish and sell. They are cheaper if you only have one side polished, but if it is for a spare tire it would be practical to polish both sides.

For some reason I can't see locations in signatures in tapatalk. Maybe I'm missing something. Thanks don. Ok, so Ohio isn't too bad. I'd happily pay shipping for a steelie to come to port Huron MI if you had the time to send it. I'd love to see pics. I'll PM you.

The steel wheel weighs 110 lbs., I sent pictures to your email address. I was wrong about the 70 lb. limit for UPS Ground, it is 150 lbs. If it is over 70 lbs. you have to put on their yellow label warning of a heavy package. The rate from UPS Dayton to you would be $105.20 for a total weight of 115 lbs. If you can get one new or used locally, you might get a better deal. Check truck salvage yards. The $110 price that Gumpy mentioned might have shipping or taxes added.

Andy's Freightlinner Toter Home has 24.5 Alcoa rubber on it so I would check truck salvage yards. Big one in Holland Mich. His is on a FL120 frame. last time I was up there they had several buses also.
