Title: MCI brake lamp solenoid
Post by: Scott & Heather on April 28, 2016, 12:28:48 PM
I'm sorting out some wiring issues on the 1992 102C3. Brake lamps...the solenoid for them is under the drivers seat..how can I tell if it's bad or not? Just check it with a meter? I don't have brake lights and I'm trying to see if that solenoid went bad. Wire# 809 was getting really hot not sure if that had anything to do with it

Lol. My bad. The red wire is indeed hot. I through that on there temporarily to get s brake light signal to some Walmart special lights. My issue is that I can't figure out which stud in the front J-box is the stud for brake lamps. I have the electrical manual and the maintenance manual but do you think I can find the page that tells me what the studs are? No way
