Title: Generator air bags
Post by: FolkBus on April 28, 2016, 10:56:18 AM
Hi all,

Does anyone have a suggestion of an outlet for the purchase of small airbags I could use for my genset?  I have a 3 cyl. Kubota 12.5 KW set that is hard mounted on my coach. I have the room and would like to cut back on the vibration.

Thanks

Maybe use air ride cab air bags? They are small.
Our Bmw x5 uses very small air bags in the rear as well

Soundown sells engine isolation mounts.  Not airbags but designed to reduce vibrations for the marine industry.

Marshmellow springs work better for a generator same results without needing air and last 3 times as long

Never heard of Marsh mellow springs. However, they look like a great idea. How difficult were they to install?
