I have been trying to find a fellow east of me that was reportedly running a bus salvage yard. Well today I finally ended up at his place to buy a replacement rim for my bus. I talked to him for a spell and asked if it was O.K. to post a few pictures and his phone number. No, he does not have a web site and this is kind of a retirement thing that was started just before he was stricken by a stroke. He has a tough time getting around and relies on the help of locals when he needs parts like engines or transmissions to be pulled so he mostly sits in his pick up and has to watch. Nice guy, bad break.

Most of his stock is D series buses but he has one of those Grey Hound freight trailers full of NOS 9/12 parts he got from the Grey Hound garage in an auction. His plan is to catalogue all the parts and put them onto shelving in one of the coaches that do not have any seats.

That is the fellow I mentioned before and who I bought the Prevost from. Life sure kicked him. He and his wife seem nice and ya lots of buses to pick apart, mostly newer stuff, mostly 60 series, buts lots there.
