In this March issue of BCM, Bruce Fay wrote an article about the 2016 Arcadia Rally. Unfortunately, it looks like this will be the last rally that Bill and Brenda Phelan will be holding due to health issues. Everyone is hoping someone else will pick up the torch and keep the rally going as it was the largest and what some considered the best bus rally held in the U.S. for the past several years. Bruce Fay also introduces us to a unique way to use your coach. He and his wife Linda helped out Jimmy Carters group, Habitat for Humanity - building houses for the poor. If you have any skills at all and want to help out, they are always looking for a helping hand and can use your skills no matter how much you actually know about building, plumbing, wiring, or painting a house. John Swartley wrote another very interesting history article about Public Intercity Transportation, which includes several historic photos of trolley cars that were purchased and demolished as a plot by General Motors to sell more cars. This was one reason that there was an increase in bus transportation; as people that could not afford to buy a car still needed to get around. Some of you folks have benefited from obtaining some of these buses and converted them to a home on wheels. Read the first page of the article here.

He was in Quartzsite and made a lot of folks who visited his booth very warm with his Kimberly and Katydid wood stoves.
