Title: Wanted MCI 9,or GM 4905 Without Electronic Injection

Anybody know where there is a MCI 9 or Gm 4905 with Manual (kiss) systems. I am talking the ole school stuff on the power train.Must be free of structural corrosion & drivable.I live in the Central part of North Carolina. Is this kind of creature still living?

That shouldn't be a problem GM buses never had a electronic engine they were out of business before the DDEC hit the market in 1987,so you won't find a electronic engine in a MCI 9 before a 1987 or 1988 model

The guys on the BCI FaceBook page sure chase buses down for sale seem like they know where all the older buses are located for sale

I have a friend in AL, just outside Ft. Payne who has an MC9 available. Decent condition. Great runner. Partially converted. Lots of extras. 6V92 with auto tranny.
I drove it from MN to AL a couple summers ago. Ran awesome. Send me an email if you're interested. I have a stack of photos on my
website. Several gig file.

I'll have a 95% completed MCI-9 conversion for sale possibly this fall :) 9" raised roof :) it's nice. Not million dollar, but nice :) mechanical 6v92 auto Allison

Ray Cox has a nice MC9 for sale. Clean and well maintained. Still seated.

He's just south of Atlanta.
