I like my stock windows "for now", But mine appear to have all these little cracks or something in them. It is almost like they are all shattered on a micro level.
Is there a way to "buff" that out? or do they need replaced? If they do need replaced, is there a "how to" link yall know of? And who has these stock replacements? Or who has aftermarket replacements?
Thanks in advance for Yalls help!

That's not glass, it's lexon. Greyhound used a lot of them and they usually craze like that. Replace with glass.
Mind you they are little-boy-on-the-side-of-the-road-with-a-rock proof... There are newer forms of Lexan and other similar plastics that are clearer, more scratch resistant, less prone to hazing, etc. Plastic transfers heat a little less. It might be cheaper to replace the plastic if it looks like you can get the old sheet out and put in a new one without inventing the wheel again.

There's always a busnut removing windows in order to skin over part of the side...
Let your desires for their take-outs be known in the various busnut sell/trade venues.

If you have Lexan you have single pane frames. You could insulate the inside much better by just finding some double pane windows and installing them, they drop right in. Maybe Caylor Supply has some, or like said a busnut that has removed some to skin over an area. If you just want to replace with single glass panes they are not expensive and a 5 minute job, don't even have to remove the window frame just pull the gasket and pop it in from the inside.
Wonder if some of that newfangled head light lens restorer might work on this Lexan??? Just a thought.

I've used some of that on my '03 Jetta TDI headlights - works like a charm. But that's surface problems, the crazing on this Lexan is internal. I'm gonna guess, no.
And I just through away a handful of double glazed MCI stock windows. :-\
BUMMER, and I live close enough to have picked them up. :'( :'( :'( :'(
Honestly, keep poking around here and on Craigslist. Most everyone who converts MCI's tosses the original Windows so someone must have some somewhere. I do have I think six I Michigan still installed on my 102c3 we are planning to start converting this summer. If you were closer I'd give you those. I think one is cracked tho. Scott, I understand that you're saying the 102c3 windows will fit a 9. I need 2 windows for mine, however if the ones you have are the double pane I'd take all I can get. I'm near Indianapolis so picking them up wouldn't be a problem. I'd even help remove them if you wanted. Don
Ok. Can someone chime in on whether my windows in the 102c3 above would fit his 9??

I believe the 9 has shorter Windows.
Kahuna, I have the same Windows in my 86 102A3. They are lucite, they were an upgrade because they save about 300 lbs of weight over the glass. The lucite suffers from internal checking, you cannot buff it out. I tried several experiments on my small window in the door since I was going to replace it anyway. I tried buffing with optical grade polish. I tried sanding then buffing, no difference. I tried heating with a heat gun. Basically from my experiments and research there is no fix for this other than replacement. The lucite replacements are not available from MCI. MCI sells the glass replacements for the side windows for 174 each.
Thanks for the info..ill keep looking..
I am selling the windows off of my bus. If you are interested in any of them let me know. I am in Southern California which may be an issue if you are not close.
Anyhow, if you are interested just let me know. Happy to discuss further with you.
Peninsula glass has them for MCI 9. If your gonna replace, might as well upgrade. :)
Dual pane, Opening, and screen would be nice.
