We had convinced ourselves that we didn't want to go to Florida again this year. It's a long drive for an ol' Michigander you know. But, once again we look at each other and say - where else could we go?
So, let's say the nice folks in the Tikvah bus might consider a short trip into Florida. If we do, we might as well take advantage of the Arcadia rally, we've met some wonderful folks there that we now consider true friends. Besides, I'm willing to bet that BCM would like me to snap some pictures and write a little something... so, let's say "maybe".
If we do, we'll come down mid-December, then do what we can at the rally, maybe we can offer some help to Bill & Brenda, then we have the month of January to burn. Where should we go for a month? We don't have money to burn, but a nice park near the ocean wouldn't be out of the question. We don't mind driveway hopping for short visits either - we've made some wonderful friends that way.
So, I'm putting it out here.... any ideas? Offers? Can we meet up with one or more of you good folks?

Lol I have tried to make that rally four times over the years then when we reach New Orleans there is so much to do and with the best food in the world Bayou Signet state park is as far as we ever make it
Cliff, I'm bound and determined to meet you someday before I'm old. Dave and Amy, we will miss you this year. Way too many concerts scheduled so can't attend the rally. Think of us and remember last year and the late night walks with the shanks :) we will think of you guys

We're still in the planning stages. We're not even sure when we're headed south yet. So far Michigan is working in our favor. The longer we can stay north, the happier we are. Sooner or later we will be pressed south. We have plans to get Jakes installed in Chattanooga then we'll spin a bottle or something.

We certainly will miss both families. Scott, maybe we can cross paths as we travel south and you travel north.
We will so miss those walks! And seeing Scott's face on every concert poster in town! Ha!

Angie just mentioned we will be in San Antonio for February / March. Where we are staying is only 350 a month and Scott and Family will be there as well (Scott promised us they would be there)

Where are you guys staying Sean and Scott we will be at either Hidden Valley,Blazing Star or Braunig Lake in Mar it's our 40th wedding anniversary we were married in Bexar County Tx and that's pronounced "Bear" for non Texans,hope to see and meet you guys

Happy thanksgiving! We are staying with the shanks at Texas 281. Look it up cliff. Maybe close by? I don't think we will make it there until March but we hopefully will be there about a month give or take :)
