Post by: uncle ned on November 10, 2015, 04:28:49 AM

Huggy is ready to roll.  Headed to Hunting Beach State Park SC for the week end.

Going to sleep by the beach listing to the waves roll in.

Might have to stop by Santee state park on the way.
us old people do not like to drive to far in one day.

I hope you have a good trip and may the wind be at your back. Wish I was traveling with you.

Ned,

Looks like "all downhill" to get there!  Huggy should like that!
Is there an event in Myrtle Beach this weekend?

If you head to Florida, we should be in Apopka (Wekiva Springs State Park) by November 17 :) For just a few days. Then up to Maryland...then off to Gatlinburg, TN then up to Indiana and then to Michigan for Christmas :) Lotso bus miles coming up...

Had a great time at Santee State park.  Had planed on going on down to Hunting Island state park but they were full on wed.

Had a long trip down. I travel the back roads and had 8 detours because of bridges out. There are still houses with standing wate up to the doors and cars in low places with water up past the bottom of the doors.

Lets us know the power of mother nature.  the lake was still full and the divergent canal was flowing full.

But the park was in good shape on the remaining campsite side.

and a good time was had by all and HUGGY runs better every time we are out.
Makes me think twice before I proceed with a 50 series engine, until I have to was the left side of my toad off.  It get black from the exhaust.
