Title: Going to SEMA?
Post by: TomC on November 02, 2015, 03:20:54 AM
I'm leaving tomorrow for Las Vegas and the SEMA show (Specialty Equipment Market Association) for aftermarket car/truck equipment. Since I'm retiring from Los Angeles Freightliner, this will be the last time I'll be able to go. I'm staying at Oasis RV and will be there till Saturday.
Went out yesterday to service bus. Grease, adjust brakes, change fuel and oil filters (didn't have enough oil to change the engine oil, but only about 5,000mi on oil). Hope to see anyone there. Good Luck, TomC

Tom, have a good time there. Maybe you'll find something nice for your truck conversion.

I drove a Cascadia Evolution for Swift this summer. Nice truck. DD15, 10 speed Eaton/Fuller, Adaptive Cruise Control (nice, except the cruise disables when the wipers are on, that is annoying). Quiet interior. Big wide cab, that's nice when you are living in it 24/7. Doesn't have the cool factor of a Pete, but it does the job quite well.

Are you and Donna coming to the Dam rally? Was nice meeting you in Laughlin a couple years ago.

I just want to say that I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!

I have always wanted to go to SEMA. What a show with all the custom vehicles and new aftermarket items coming out for next year!

Have a fun time and post pictures if you can.

Unfortunately it is raining rather hard now in Las Vegas. So we'll go to AAPEX today since it is indoors, then hopefully SEMA tomorrow. Good Luck, TomC
