Any possibility of finding one of these aluminum plates? I need one, like literally just one. Tried to call the company where I found this pic but apparently they're long gone. MCI sent me the wrong part when I ordered from them. They sent me some steel plate with 2 holes in the middle of it. Total waste of time and money :-\
It's killing me that I know exactly what I need and can't seem to find it anywhere... The plate I have is oxidized and leaking, so of course now my new bag will not seal. I've had it off and on now about 6 times trying to clean and smooth the seal area. I don't have any fancy facility for this crap so it's getting REALLY old spending jacking with it(4hrs on my knees on the concrete each time), but if I had a good plate, problem solved. What I don't want is some $1500 "kit" with all 4 plates and bags either. If I can't fix this cheap enough I'm gonna drive this POS off a cliff. Can you tell I'm frustrated? :D

I think Mohawk has the plates, I bought some air bags from them a while back and I'm pretty sure they had the plates in their catalog.

I had the same problem with corroded plates on our MC8. Instead of replacing them with new aluminum plates I made my own new plates from 3/8" plate steel. I used the old plate as a pattern to torch cut the circles, drill the mounting holes, and welded a 1" long 3/4" square rod to the plate, then drilled and tapped for the air fitting. The materials cost me $12 for each plate. When I installed the bags I used a Permatex type sealant between the rubber and the steel since I reused the old bags.

I'm headed this direction I think. So dumb that I call MCI parts get this. They don't know what the hell I'm talking about. Guess next time I should ask for someone over 55yrs old. :D These damn buses kill me with all the dissimilar metals bolted up to each other too. "I know...Let's bolt this aluminum right up against some steel then on the other side we'll bolt some stainless"! But I digress...
I actually found the bag in town at a touring coach company that used to have a few but they've long-since upgraded their fleet. They didn't have any plates left laying around though.
