Title: 4106 driver control panel...
Post by: OneLapper on October 04, 2015, 07:48:34 AM
I'm working on replacing all the toggle switches on the control panel.  The panel in my bus is in really rough condition.  It appears that a PO had difficulty removing so he just pried it up with a screw driver.

Does anyone have a panel in good condition that they don't need anymore?  My 4106 is a late model, but I don't think there were many differences in the panel.  Mine has the two knobs which I like and still use.

Maybe some of you that have put in custom dashes have a panel just collecting dust!

Thanks,

Mark

Mark, let me look for mine it was in good shape and I dont plan to reuse it. - The gauges, switches have been out in the weather though, do you just need the formed panel?

Dash cluster or side panel?

Hey Darkspeed!

That would be great!  LMK what you want for it.  I'm looking for the side panel, the one with the two knobs in the middle, the Day Night Park and HVAC knobs.

I'm in total awe on how much you've gotten done on your bus.  Takes me months to get one thing accomplished!

Remember, I have that great example of good industrial design available if you really want to "retro-upgrade" your dash panels. ;D ;D

Todd's would be a perfect example to use as a template for fabricating a "NOS" one!
