35,000 RV enthusiasts are expected to descend on the upcoming 63rd Annual California RV Show from October 9th to the 18th in Pomona, CA. The 10 day Show will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM daily. Click here for more information: http://www.thebestrvshow.com (http://www.thebestrvshow.com).
Bus Conversion Magazine will have a gigantic 40 foot booth just outside the Exhibitor tent displaying the Publishers half-painted Eagle, courtesy of Pacific RV Paint in Garden Grove, CA. Be sure to stop by to see if you can guess which half is newly painted. Everyone that guesses correctly will be entered to win one of ten free one-year subscription or extensions each day to the Online Edition of Bus Conversion Magazine.
The Eagle will also sport a new 20' long beautiful Carefree automatic awning, courtesy of Pacific RV Paint also in Garden Grove, CA.
Royal Coach in Mechanicsburg, PA also donated a toy bus for folks to drop their business cards in or you can fill out one of our raffle cards and drop it in the slot in the top of the bus to enter the drawing. We will have one drawing per day and you don't have to be present to win. Winners will be notified at the conclusion of the show.
BCM has opportunities for volunteers with experience in owning and traveling in bus conversions who are interested in helping out in our booth to answer questions such as "Why a bus?", and other silly questions from the commoners. We are seeking volunteers to work a minimum of four hour shifts in the morning and/or afternoon for a portion of or all of the show. Everyone who volunteers will receive a free BCM hat. In addition, for every four hours you volunteer, we will extend your BCM subscription by two months, and you will be able choose up to two back issues per four hour stint that we will have at the show, even the oldies but goodies dating back to February 1991.
If you are interested in participating in this fun event, please email Gary at Gary@BusConversions.com. We have to limit this to the first 10 people that sign up due to our 40' space limitations. Simply, email me and let me know if you want to volunteer alone or with your significant other. I will then email you a schedule to sign up for the timeslots and days you are interested in. Also, please provide a brief background of your bus experience and if you are a current bus owner, the make and model of your bus.
Thank you for your support of Bus Conversion Magazine and we look forward to seeing you at the largest RV Show in California.
Gary, that is not a FMCA event is it ?
Luvrbus, this is not an FMCA event. This is better than an FMCA event. ;D Just out of curiosity, why do you ask?
I was asking because most of the time @ a FMCA event they won't let you volunteer for nothing if you are not a member of FMCA
Luvrbus,
I checked with the show promoter before I posted this and he was actually excited that volunteers would be there to help in my booth. But thanks for the info on the FMCA shows. That is useful information.
Therefore, which days do you want to volunteer for? I still have 5 more open slots. :D
Gary
Bus Conversion Magazine still has openings for volunteers to work in our gigantic booth at the largest RV show in California. You can work anywhere from one to multiple 4-hour shifts for one day or up to 10 days. Please contact me at Gary@BusConversions.com if you are interested.
We are still looking for bus nuts to answer questions such as "How can you live without slides" and other silly questions from the lay people. If you know of any other silly questions we should expect, please list them here so we will not be caught off-guard.
Sounds like the west coast version of the Hershey, Pa. RV show.
