Title: PD4106 roundy headlights
Post by: Sharkbait on September 13, 2015, 03:18:42 PM
My bus was converted by the PO to include the square headlight modification. Luckily for me that was the extent of the bodywork. I find this change as a source of irritation as I much prefer the stock round headlight look.

Question, any reason I should not return to the round headlights? I saw a post about which round bulbs to buy etc. Anybody have a round headlight assembly they would be willing to part with? Thanks, Phil

I dont know how hard they will be to locate, I know some of the lenses like the turn signal are almost impossible to find.

I would bet you could make a mold of a good set so you could lay up a new set out of fiberglass. At that point you would need some generic 7" headlight buckets and some abler plexiglass and leds to make a turn signal. I think the round headlights look much nicer.

Does anyone have a 4106 that is being scrapped?  That's the most likely way of finding a pair of headlights.  I agree, the dual round headlights are classic looking.
