Title: 8V92TA Power steering pump on blower drive
Post by: wayne on August 31, 2015, 04:46:57 PM
I replaced my engine with a 1994 8V92TA but did not install the power steering drive. I am gonna have to pull the engine back ou to install it unless I can use the blower drive which is the same drive (same ratio 2.05:1) but spins CW instead of CCW. Is anyone running a power steering pump off the blower drive? If so can you tell me which pump you have?
My original pump is the Vickers VTM42 Vane type pump, is it possible to reverse that pump?

The blower drive is a common drive for the power steering call Ed at Jefferson in OKC he can give you the pump number Eagles power steering was off the blower drive.he may have the kit to change the direction you never know what Ed has stashed.Wayne if you need the blower drive I have several you can have for the shipping cost
