Title: 4106 degrees of positive caster?
Post by: Darkspeed on August 30, 2015, 01:17:59 PM
I am doing the geometry for my modified steering today and just noticed my caster is set at 0 Degrees.

It seems it should have a positive caster? If so how much?

Thank you!

Go for a least 3 but 5 is better all the new buses run +7 degrees the old +1.5 degrees was for when the old bias tires were around

Equal side to side is maybe more important than how much, as long as you have some.  Old suspension it's harder to get a lot of caster in, 3 to 5 would be great as long as you have power steering.

Thanks Brian! I have made some improvements to my front suspension and I have a 18K rated 4904 ft.lfb Ross power steering gear so im good.
